The Club races scheduled for April 9th have been moved to April 23rd. April 9th is the opening day of the fishing season and it's too challenging to sail around all the fishermen.

The date for the FYBO Regatta has been changed from Sunday, Dec 4th to SATURDAY, Dec 3rd.

The date for the FYBO Regatta has been changed from Dec 6th to Dec 13th.

The Club races scheduled for September 27th are cancelled because of a conflicting event at Spring Lake.

The 43rd annual Libery Bell regatta is scheduled for March 28th and 29th.

Congratulations to Jamey Betz on his terrific win at the Chicago Race Week.  He is the new EC12 National Champion.  He beat out five former champions who were hot on his heels for the entire event.  You can see the complete results on the EC12 Forum.

We had a very successful day of Interclub racing on June 22nd.   Members from the Chester Springs and Spring Lake clubs joined Mid-Atlantic members for EC12 races in the morning and Soling 1M races in the afternoon.  We had a record number of 17 EC12s, and 8 S1Ms.  Jim Flach took some more of his great pictures which are on-line at this link.

A very soggy Liberty Bell regatta was held on March 29th and 30th.   It rained steadily on both days for the nineteen skippers who initially started the event.  Dave Brawner and Jamey Betz were the RDs and they had a lot of help from Nick Mortgu, Skip Hall, Jim Flach and Luke Betz.  Checkout Jim's photos at this link.

The pre-season practice sail scheduled for Sunday, March 9th has been cancelled because of ice on the lake.

The final event of the year, the FYBO Regatta, really lived up to its name this year, with several inches of snow on the ground at the end of the day.   Check out the pictures from Jim Flach.
